Western style accomodations await our guests
The Buck Inn is an 11-room hotel on the second story of a converted 32-stall horse barn in the middle of Brown County Indiana. (This is not a hay loft, folks.) The first floor houses a commercial kitchen, dining room, public restrooms and the banquet barn.
The 11 individual rooms surround two common areas, all in rustic/Western décor. The common areas are complete with gas fireplaces, leather furniture, souvenirs from the past and trophies from the hunt. This area is designed as the central location for all visitors to gather and get to know each other. The best foyer in Brown County Indiana.
The ends of the Buck Inn have dining areas that contain a fridge, toaster oven, microwave and table. The Buck Inn is like a traditional hotel in that we have no real cooking equipment which is why we built the Banded Rooster. This allows guests the ability to not leave the ranch in the morning and enjoy a home madebreakfast. Coffee is always available free to ranch guests in the Banded Rooster. Lunch is also served on the ranch but dinner is not except for groups. The ranch is located 3 miles from the town of Nashville making it a short drive to hit town for dinner.
Guest rooms are named after true characters of the old West or the weapons that made them famous. Every room has a private bath with unique, country-built countertops and sinks. We rent these rooms individually and welcome all families and couples. Rooms will sleep 2 to 6 people each in a combination of traditional beds and log-built bunk beds. Where else can you rent one room for 5-6 people in Brown County Indiana at such a low rate?
